Our mission has always been to promote your business and provide tools that will help run your business. However, if your site is not indexed in Google and other search engines, you'll receive a minimal amount of traffic. If you want better positioning in Google, then you'll have to increase your link popularity. It's that simple!
You can't use just any link, though. It must be from site's with similar subjects. For example, if you have a photography business, then links from other sites which have keywords containing photography will help skyrocket your search engine rankings. Conversely, if you have links incoming (and outgoing) to sites that have nothing to do with photography, your rankings can slip!

Step 1: Put a link to WeDJ.com on your website
You'll need to place the link on a page that search engine's can see. If the search engine can't find your page (there's lots of reasons) then the recipricol links won't help either of us. WeDJ.com has provided a tool that will find search-engine-friendly pages on your site AND give you credit for a link placed on that page. Free listings don't normally get a link back, but if you link to us, we'll automatically link back for free!

Step 2: Download and install ALEXA
This tool, provided by Amazon.com, shows the popularity of websites. Its not very accurate, but that's not the reason why we use it. When you visit a website, Alexa sends information to the search engines which cause the pages to be indexed quickly. Once you are finished visiting websites you can remove the tool. Alexa also has information about sites you visit and displays other sites of interest.
Click HERE to install the Alexa toolbar. If you are running Windows Vista then Alexa won't work on Internet Explorer. You can get around this issue by downloading Firefox.
Step 3: Visit your homepage and click on every link
Once Alexa is installed, visit your own website and make sure to click on every link you can find. This will help the search engines find all your pages.
Step 4: Visit WeDJ.com and click on your website links
Start from the homepage --> http://www.wedj.com, and find your listing in the city results. Paid listings will be in numerous towns, so try to find them all. Make sure to click through to your website -- you'll get credit for that link. Free listings may also show in multiple towns, so be sure to peek around and find all the links.
Step 5: Find your website link on other sites and click through to your site
If you are listed in other directories/sites, navigate to them and click on your link.

Step 6: Repeat steps 3-5 every week
The key to better positioning is consistency. Repeat the above steps (make sure Alexa is installed), on a regular basis and you should see better search engine positioning PLUS additional visitors to your website.
